The HOME 2020 Competition was an excuse for me to both get out of a creative rut and reconnect with an old colleague and life-long friend from my Architecture School days. We wanted to combine our efforts to put together something unlike the typical “boards” found in architecture competitions and presentations. Our final product was an amalgamation of architecture boards and comic books, resulting in a story about connection, love, and food.
Over project began with discussions over Rocket League about what the definition of “home” meant to us. We both agreed on home being a place where stories and food were shared with those you love. We put together an extensive discussion document with bits of information we found across our research. It’s not necessarily cohesive but I like it because it’s a nice viewport into our kooky minds.
